Tweeter Getter is creating quite a commotion in the Twitter community. For anyone unfamiliar with Twitter, it is a great social networking tool that a lot of attraction marketers are utilizing to connect with people, gain traffic to their web content, and ultimately help increase their businesses.
You can search on particular topics or keywords and find people with similar interests, locations or interests that relate to your niche market. When you click to “follow” someone, you then receive the few sentences that that person posts from their Twitter home page. When you post, your followers receive your short blurb with a limit of 140 characters. Like any online social networking site, it is important to provide valuable information and not “spam” people by just blasting your “deal” to them. You can comment about other people’s “tweets” you can tweet something inspirational, you can tweet a link to an article that would be of interest to your followers. If you do not use Twitter responsibly and provide value to your follows, they will just “unfollow” you. Most people reciprocate by follow you back when you follow them.
So what is Tweeter Getter and what is the controversy all about?
Tweeter Getter is simply a free tool you can use to increase your followers much, much quicker. Some people claim that Twitter was meant for people to have small groups of followers so they build relationships, but it that were true, why were there many people using Twitter before Tweeter Getter with large followings? Others may feel it is not “playing fair” since they took considerable time in building their following. The truth is there is nothing wrong with Tweeter Getter. If there was, Twitter would have banned the creators from Twitter, and that is not the case. They have a following of almost 14,000 as of this writing.
Again it just comes down to how you use Tweeter Getter. If you use it to create a following, then provide valuable comments, insights and resources to your audience, it doesn’t matter that you used a useful tool to speed up the process of connecting with people. Even if you do use Tweeter Getter, you’ll still want to do searches and add people who have an interest in your niche markets, but this tool can help you gain exposure and traffic to your value-rich online articles and content a little quicker.
